The Aggressive Driving Campaign launched with a collection of safety awareness initiatives. To engage young drivers and soon-to-be young drivers, a poster contest was held with cooperation and support of local elementary and secondary schools. Informative brochures about the consequences of aggressive driving, along with eye-catching 'Keep Calm and Drive On" window decals were produced as handout material for the public.

The campaign officially launched with an aggressive awareness driving blitz. Zone Watch volunteers and Thunder Bay Police Service officers teamed up to create traffic checkpoints around the city. motorists who crossed through these checkpoints were given some of the handout matterial produced by Zone Watch, and then were briefly informed about the campaign and the importance of avoiding aggressive driving habits.

The media was invited to the campaign launch, and stories about it were published and launched through a variety of outlets.
