An investigation by Thunder Bay Police Criminal Investigations Branch in conjunction with the Intellegence Unit has lead to the arrest of three males and one female for weapons and drug related charges.

2 high risk vehicle stops and a search warrant at a North side residence has lead to the seisure of 4 loaded handguns and two loaded shotguns.A significant quantity of drugs and cash were also seized.

The Emergency Task Unit Executed the warrant at the north side address. The investigation was assist by the work of the Community Response Team,Uniform Patrol and the Forensic Identification Unit.

The persons involved have yet to appear before court.

Some of the persons arrested have ties to the Ottawa Area.The Investigation continues.
