Thunder Bay Police officers were dispatched the Mr. Chinese Restaurant located on Arthur Street just before 7:00 p.m. on April 9, 2016 on a report a robbery that had just occurred.

The staff reported that a male entered the business with his face covered and went to the front counter where he demanded money while holding a knife in his hand.  The suspect continued to take money out of the cash drawer and left the establishment and entered a car that was waiting for him and exited the area.   The staff and patrons that were in the building were not injured.

Follow up police investigation has allowed for police to identify the male responsible for the robbery and are currently looking to locate him.  The investigation continues.
