Patrol officers attended the Water Street Bus Terminal around 9:30 p.m. on July 20, 2017 on a report of two suspicious males.

When officers arrived they located the individuals in the possession of a large amount of copper wire.

The investigation revealed that the wire was taken from a locked compound on Front Street belonging to Thunder Bay Hydro. Both males were arrested and charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and escorted to the Balmoral Police Station and appeared in court this morning.

31 year old David Bourque was released with a future court date while 39 year old David Mlynarski was remanded into custody.
