The Thunder Bay Police Service continues to investigate a sudden death that occurred over the weekend in Chapples Park.
Officers were dispatched to the southern portion of the park just after 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9 after a passerby saw what they believed might be a body.
The body was sent to Toronto where a post-mortem is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 12. More information is expected to be known following that post-mortem examination.
Police continue to hold the scene at Chapples Park.
