Officers responded to a weapons call in the Intercity area just before 3:00 p.m. on May 14, 2018.

A 29 year old male call 911 to report that he had a gun pointed at him after an incident with a 24 year old male on the May Street Bridge just south of Isabel Street. The victim reported that he confronted the 24 year old who was asking people for money when the gun was pointed at him. 

The suspect then walked toward the Silvercity Movie Theater.

Responding officers located the male sitting on the steps of the movie theater. He was taken into custody without incident. Officers located the weapon and determined it to be a BB gun.

The 24 year old Thunder Bay man has been charged with Pointing a Firearm, three counts of Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order and Breach of Probation. He will appear in court this morning.
