Police are looking to identify a vehicle involved in a collision with a pedestrian over the weekend.

The Thunder Bay Police Service responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision in the area of Cornwall Avenue and Machar Avenue just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 16.

A male pedestrian was found injured at the scene. The vehicle had left the scene prior to the arrival of police.

The pedestrian was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further evaluation and treatment of their injuries.

Police have identified a vehicle of interest. The vehicle is a white 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe sport utility vehicle that may have damage to the front right side and the hood. Police are publicly releasing an image of that vehicle.
