Three arrested on drug trafficking charges following East End search

Police arrested three people, include a Toronto man, on drug trafficking charges following the search of an East End home Wednesday afternoon.

Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Emergency Task Unit executed a search warrant at a residential address in the 500 block of Pacific Avenue. The search warrant was obtained as a result of an ongoing investigation, by members of the TBPS’s Intelligence Unit, into drug trafficking activity from that address.

When police entered the home they located and arrested multiple suspects,

Three suspects were transported to the TBPS headquarters at 1200 Balmoral Street.

A search of the home led to the seizure of a quantity of suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine, cash and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

The estimated street value of drugs seized totals more than $35,000.


Becky Shannon CAMPBELL, 33, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Fail to Comply with release order

Glen Gord CAMPBELL, 38, of Thunder Bay is charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Jevonte Shakeare Obrian WILLIAMS, 22, of Toronto, is charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Fail to Comply with Judicial Release

All three appeared in bail court on Thursday, March 16 and were remanded into custody with future appearance dates.
