The scene of a sudden death investigation has been cleared.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Primary Response Branch, along with Thunder Bay Fire Rescue firefighters, were dispatched to the Marina Park Drive and North Water Street area just after 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10 following reports of a body possibly being discovered.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they located the body of a deceased male. Members of the TBPS’s Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units became involved in the ongoing investigation.
The investigation is now a private matter between next of kin and investigators. No further media updates are expected at this time.
