The Thunder Bay Police Service is at the scene of a motor vehicle collision, which involved a bus and a cyclist, at the corner of Red River Road and Clarkson Street South.
Police, along with firefighters with Thunder Bay Fire Rescue and Paramedics with Superior North EMS, were dispatched to the area just after 8:40 a.m. today (Tuesday, May 23).
The teen cyclist was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
Police remain on scene and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this collision. Traffic disruptions are expected, and motorists are asked to avoid the area if they can until further notice.
