The Thunder Bay Police Service is asking motorists to stay away from Belrose Road, between Oliver and John Street Roads, following a single-vehicle collision that led to downed power lines.
The collision took place on Tuesday, June 25 at about 2:40 p.m. A commercial van had struck a hydro pole, causing the downed power lines. Injuries are believed to be minor in nature.
Hydro crews are on scene, but the road is expected to be closed for several hours.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
