Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified male located in the Intercity area Wednesday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Primary Response Branch were dispatched to the 100 block of Alloy Drive at about 10:50 a.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 9) to assist paramedics and firefighters, who were dispatched to the area for an unresponsive male.
First responders confirmed the male was deceased.
Members of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units are now involved in the ongoing investigation.
A scene has been established and a significant police presence remains in the area.
