The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigating an incident involving a suspicious motorist who is alleged to have been asking youths if they wanted a ride to a nearby liquor store.
The incident was reported to police at about 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 4. The motorist, described as an older White male, was in the 600-block area of Arthur Street West when they reportedly approached a youth and asked them if they wanted to go to the LCBO.
The youths declined and the motorist asked one more time before driving away.
Members of the Primary Response Branch searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
Further investigation led police to identify a potential driver, and are making contact with the male to further the investigation.
