Jeffrey D R MILLER, 41, of Thunder Bay, was charged with Second-Degree Murder in connection with a Friday, March 29 homicide.

The accused appeared in court Saturday morning and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date of Monday, April 1.

UPDATE: ARREST MADE

In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 30, Thunder Bay Police arrested a 41-year-old Thunder Bay man in relation to the Hilldale Road homicide. The male is charged with second-degree murder and will appear before court on Saturday, March 30.

The investigation continues and police are still encouraging anyone with information to contact the tip line at 684-1055.

Homicide Investigation – request for video from public

Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to the area Hilldale and Melbourne Roads just after 12:45 p.m. on Friday, March 29, for reports of an injured male.

Paramedics transported the victim to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he later died from his injuries.

Police are now investigating this death as a homicide and are requesting assistance from the public. Investigators would like anyone who was in this area between noon and 1:30 p.m., who may have dashcam or other video, to contact investigators at 684-1200.
