Police have determined the estimated street value of drugs seized in two incidents last week totalled nearly $225,000.

The seizures were the result of an investigation into drug trafficking activity that led to a pair of warrants being executed by the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Intelligence Unit, assisted by the OPP – Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and TBPS K9 Unit, on Thursday, Oct. 29.

The first warrant was executed at a hotel room in the 400 block of Memorial Avenue just before 5:30 p.m. There police located a quantity of Fentanyl, Cocaine, and suspected fake Percocet pills potentially containing Fentanyl.

During their search an accused arrived at the scene and was arrested after initially attempting to flee from police.

A second warrant was executed at a residential address in the 1500 block of Oliver Road at about 9:50 p.m. Police arrested three accused individuals at that location and seized a quantity of cocaine, a quantity of Fentanyl, more than $27,000 in cash and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

Jahzeigh STEPHENS, 27, of Mississauga, is charged with:

Joseph Yvan Bill BLAIR, 50, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

Sydney Kathrina EGEBERG, 20, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

Dajshon Javon STEWART, 26, of Toronto, is charged with:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Resist Peace Officer
• Obstruct Peace Officer
• Possession of an Identity Document
• Failure to Comply with a Judicial Release

All four accused appeared in bail court on Friday, Oct. 30 and were remanded into custody with future appearance dates.
