Police located and arrested two teens just minutes after being dispatched to the reported break and enter of a vape store early Tuesday morning.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Primary Response Branch were dispatched to a business in the 800 block of Red River Road just after 3:50 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11 following reports of a break and enter that had just occurred.

While en route, officers learned a suspect was observed entering the business via forced entry and fleeing with undisclosed merchandise.

An investigation revealed that two youth suspects were involved in the break and enter.

Both suspects were located in the zero-to-100 block of Oak Avenue only six minutes after being dispatched to the reported break and enter.

The youths were taken into custody and transported to the TBPS headquarters at 1200 Balmoral Street.

A 14-year-old female from Thunder Bay is charged with:

• Break and Enter
• Disguise with Intent

A 13-year-old male from Thunder Bay is charged with:

• Break and Enter
• Disguise with Intent

The identities of the accused are being withheld in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Both are scheduled to appear in bail court in Thunder Bay on Tuesday, July 11.
