The Thunder Bay Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect of a recent robbery of a south-side convenience store.

Officers were dispatched to the Circle K Convenience Store in the 1300 block of Arthur Street East just after 7 a.m. on Saturday March 16 in response to a reported robbery.

Police learned a female suspect had entered the store and attempted to grab money from the cash register. She then threatened the store clerk.

The suspect exited the store and entered a blue four-door sedan. The vehicle was last seen travelling eastbound on Arthur Street.

The suspect is described as an Indigenous woman standing about 5’5” or 5’6” tall with a thin build. She wore blue jeans and a black hoodie at the time of the robbery.

The Thunder Bay Police Service is releasing images of the suspect from video surveillance.
