Spreading Cheer

Thunder Bay Police Service Beat Unit officers joined representatives of the Thunder Bay Multicultural Association at the Prince Arthur Hotel to help spread some cheer with newly arriving residents. 


Visits from Santa

Thunder Bay Police Service School Resource officers brought Santa Claus on a tour of Kindergarten classrooms throughout the city late in December 2018. In addition to meeting with students, Santa and the officers dropped off stuff toys for the school to distribute. The stuffed toys were donated to the service through an ongoing partnership with the local PetSmart. 


Boxing For Badges Graduation

Thunder Bay Police Service Cst. Frank Tropea and Cst. Matt Veal led concluded their eight-week boxing program for at-risk youths. 


Parade of Lights Success

The Parade of Lights is an annual event organized by the Thunder Bay Police Association. The 2018 Parade of Lights helped raise more than $30,000 for selected children's charities. The money raised from this event helps children, youth and young adults with special needs in Thunder Bay.
