Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that resulted in one person being taken to hospital.
 
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service Primary Response Unit were dispatched to the area of May Street and Dease Street at about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday November 2, after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian and a Thunder Bay Transit vehicle.
 
The adult female pedestrian was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The driver has been charged with Careless Driving.
 
The investigation is ongoing.

The Thunder Bay Police Service continues to investigate the discovery of human remains in the Thunder Centre area. At this time, no information regarding the deceased individual can be released until their identity has been confirmed. The separate investigation related to an earlier police presence in the same area remains ongoing. A visible police presence continues, and members of the public are asked to avoid the area. The Thunder Bay Police Service is currently investigating the discovery of a deceased person. Human remains were located today in the Thunder Centre area. The Major Crime Unit is involved in the ongoing investigation. There is no threat to public safety. A separate investigation which was reported yesterday regarding a police presence in the same area is ongoing.
