Police investigating weapons-related incident

Police are continuing to investigate a weapons-related incident that occurred at approximately 1:35 a.m. on the morning of Friday, November 7.


At 1:40 a.m. Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a call for service in the area of Pacific Avenue and McMurray Street, where they located a male victim who had been stabbed.


The victim was transported to hospital for treatment. He was later reported to be in stable condition and has since been discharged.


Police believe two assailants were involved. A search of the area was conducted however the accused were not located. 

 

The Break and Enter/Armed Robbery (BEAR) unit and Criminal Investigations Branch continue to investigate the incident. 


Thunder Bay Police have obtained video from the area and are asking the public for their assistance in identifying the individuals in the attached videos. Note the figures in the upper left corner of the video.
