Police respond to weapons incident at Intercity Shopping Centre

Police responded to an afternoon weapons incident at a mall food court.
Thunder Bay Police Service Primary Response officers were dispatched to the Intercity Shopping Centre shortly after 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 18.
Officers responded and contained the scene.
One person has been transported to hospital for further treatment and assessment. No further information is available at this time about the extent of injuries.
Multiple people have been taken into custody.
There is no current threat to public safety.
