Police arrest robbery suspect

A suspect who robbed a business at knife point last week has been arrested.
Thunder Bay Police Service Primary Response officers were dispatched to a business in the 500 block of Beverly Street shortly before 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, after receiving a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
A female suspect had entered a business, brandished a knife towards employees, and stole merchandise. The suspect left prior to police arrival.
The BEAR Unit became involved in the investigation.
The investigation led to a suspect being identified. The suspect was located and arrested on Friday, June 20.
Nikki Dawn JOHNSON, 29, is charged with Robbery with a Weapon and Breach of Probation.
The accused appeared in court and has been remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
