Police investigating motor vehicle collision involving pedestrian

Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service Traffic Unit are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
Emergency services responded to a collision that occurred at approximately 9:00 a.m. today on Memorial Avenue near Isabel Street.
A male pedestrian was transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
A section of Memorial Avenue remains closed. Motorists are advised that traffic is expected to be disrupted and members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
