Update: Police investigating motor vehicle collision involving pedestrian

Update: Memorial Avenue has been reopened to traffic. The investigation is ongoing.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service Traffic Unit are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
Emergency services responded to a collision that occurred at approximately 9:00 a.m. today on Memorial Avenue near Isabel Street.
A male pedestrian was transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
