Two arrested as a result of Intelligence Unit investigation

A drug trafficking investigation has led to two people facing charges, along with the seizure of suspected cocaine and fentanyl.

Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service Intelligence Unit commenced an investigation into suspected drug trafficking activity earlier this year.

The investigation led to a search warrant being obtained for a residence in the South High Street area. The warrant was executed on Tuesday, October 13.

A male suspect was located within the residence and arrested. A female suspect was located and arrested a short time later.

A search of the residence led to the seizure of quantities of suspected cocaine and fentanyl, along with $1,750 in cash. Throughout the course of the investigation, police recovered 312 grams of suspected cocaine and 160 grams of suspected fentanyl, with a combined total estimated street value of $110,000.

Jeremy Joshua ISIDAHOMEN, 24, of Toronto, is charged with the following:

• Trafficking Cocaine x4

• Trafficking Fentanyl x2

• Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000 x4

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine)

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)

Harper GAMBLE, 30, of Thunder Bay, is charged with the following:

• Trafficking Cocaine

• Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000 x2

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine)

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)

The accused individuals have been remanded into custody following an initial court appearance.
