The Thunder Bay Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 25-year-old Clifton LOON.


Clifton was last seen on August 3, 2026, in the Oliver Road area.


LOON is described as an Indigenous male, standing 6’0”, weighing approximately 180 lbs, with black brush-cut hair, and brown eyes.


Loon also has a tattoo on his right arm.


He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and black pants.

TB26028629 A Thunder Bay Police Service investigation has resulted in charges. Officers with the Primary Response Unit were dispatched to the Rowand Street area around 7:40 PM on July 21, 2026, in response to a report regarding a break and enter. A search of the area led to a suspect being located and arrested following a brief foot pursuit. As a result of the investigation, 22-year-old Alexandre MICHAUD of Thunder Bay is facing the following charges: • Break, enter dwelling house – commit indictable offence • Assault with a weapon (two counts) • Mischief under $5,000 • Obstruct peace officer The accused was remanded into custody following their first court appearance.

TB26028114 A Thunder Bay Police Service Primary Response Unit investigation has resulted in an assault charge. Officers were dispatched to the Inglewood Crescent area on July 18, 2026, in response to a call for service. On scene officers located and seized an edged weapon. Further investigation led to a suspect being identified, located, and arrested. A search of the suspect led to the seizure of quantities of suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine, and oxycodone. As a result of the investigation, 48-year-old Adam THOMPSON of Thunder Bay is facing the following charges: • Assault with a weapon • Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking • Fail to comply with probation order The accused was remanded into custody following their first court appearance.

TB25050184 A Thunder Bay Police Service investigation into a sudden death on the city’s north end has resulted in a second-degree murder charge. On December 25, 2025, officers responded to a 911 call regarding a sudden death on Regent Street. On scene officers located a deceased man. The Major Crime Unit became involved in the investigation. On July 30, 2026, officers arrested a suspect at the Thunder Bay Jail. As a result of the continued investigation, 65-year-old Anthony FRIZZELL of Thunder Bay has been charged with second degree murder. The accused remains in custody with a future court date. Another individual was arrested on July 8, 2026, with the assistance of the Break, Enter, and Robbery Unit. The accused is facing an accessory after the fact to murder charge. The unnamed accused’s charges have not been read in court as they have been released under an undertaking with a future court date. The investigation remains ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
