The Thunder Bay Police Service Traffic Unit continues to investigate a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Hudson Avenue early this morning.

A vehicle traveling southbound on Hudson Avenue just after 2:00 a.m. collided with a bus shelter and knocked down two hydro poles. It then crossed residential yards, hitting two parked vehicles in one driveway and five in another.

There were no serious injuries. Two people were detained at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

It is anticipated that Hudson Avenue between Toledo Street and Otto Street will remain closed for several hours.
